CORNETT: UKHC landing page & Keeneland calendar
Cornett is an independent, female-owned, full-service ad agency recognized as one of the best in the country. Cornett prides itself on waking up Sleeping Giant brands and helping them realize their full potential.
My goal while working at Cornett was to gain as much experience as possible during my time there. I wanted to understand the workflow of an agency and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
United Kentucky Healthcare
Background- United Kentucky HealthCare is the hospitals and clinics of the University of Kentucky. UKHC is 9,000 people – physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals – all dedicated to providing the most advanced, most effective care available, not just in Kentucky but anywhere. It is physicians and other medical professionals trained in the most sophisticated, most up-to-the-minute medical techniques so that no Kentuckian, no matter how sick they are or how rare their illness, needs to go far from home for the treatment they need.
UKHC Super Bowl campaign landing page
I was tasked with working alongside the Creative team to design a landing page for UKHC’s latest campaign focusing on highlighting their exceptional service and ease of access. This campaign was organized to launch and advertise during the upcoming Super Bowl. During the iterative process, I worked closely with the Art Director assigned to this project in order to understand his vision for the landing page mood and message. Our goal was to provide users with a focused landing page highlighting UKHC’s mission of positioning themselves as not only a university hospital, but as the go to hospital for any specialist. The final landing page design was well received and represented the vision that UKHC had for this campaign.
Desktop mockup versions
Background- Keeneland Association, Inc. is an equine business based in Lexington, Kentucky. It includes two distinct divisions: the Keeneland Race Course, a Thoroughbred racing facility, and Keeneland Sales, a horse auction complex.
I worked on redesigning the Keeneland calendar by incorporating pill selector tabs as filtering options, as well as two separate views: list and month views. In addition to updating the actual filters, I introduced a continuous event line in the monthly calendar view that shows multi-day events at ease.
My designs were well received by the Cornett team as well as the Keeneland stakeholders. We worked on ironing out the kinks and continued to push for the calendar design change. Unfortunately, due to the holidays approaching and what I assumed to be lack of scope, the calendar page did not launch during the expected timeframe and was backlogged.
